I'm a woman
They call me weak,
They call me helpless,
They tell me that my place is the kitchen,
My occupation to cook,clean & breed babies,
They don't respect me.

They regard me as a nobody,
They force me into doing what I don't want,
They call me all sorts of degrading names,
They rape me,force me into prostitution,
They sell me for a bottle of booze,
Drugs and money.

Am I weak?
What prevents me from fighting back?
Does being obedient make me weak?
You tell me if it's wrong to be a woman.

Is it a sin?
Am I cursed into being the victim of society?
Why am I a woman?

Instead of sitting and feeling sorry for me,
I would rather you admire me!
Because even though you may put me down,
Beat me up and take my self respect to the dogs,
You make me a fighter.

You make me strong
And you can never take my Dignity from me.

I am blessed to be a woman,
I ooze sex appeal,confidence
And I retained my self respect
